About Me

Carmen Trifiletti is a Harrison Township, Gloucester County-based New Jersey Department of Human and Special Services clerk committed to helping her community. A graduate of Clearview Regional High School and Cabrini College, the Gloucester County native has been involved with numerous charitable efforts, including Toys for Tots and New Jersey Clean Communities. Toys for Tots distributes gifts to underprivileged children at Christmas, while New Jersey Clean Communities focuses on litter reduction in the Garden State. The certified peer recovery specialist is committed to helping others in need elsewhere. Carmen is a hard-working woman dedicated to her career in the New Jersey Department of Human and Special Services. Carmen works as a department clerk and oversees meetings involving committees for CEAS, CIACC, COMA, HSAC, and LPRC. The New Jersey Department of Human and Special Services is the state's largest agency, serving over two million Garden State residents. Trifiletti is detail-oriented to a fault. They take great pride in managing resources, preparing meeting notes, handling paperwork, and keeping track of upcoming sessions. As an active Living Proof Advisory Board member, they have assisted in setting up numerous workshops and events attracting over one hundred participants. Most importantly, they have worked on vital point-in-time counts - where homeless individuals are counted and accounted for in the community. As a part of these counts, they have distributed gloves, hats, and information for local shelters and mental health organizations. Carmen has also handled comprehensive data analysis following past count completions.
